How to invite external members to my team?

If you want to invite external members to your team, you must enable the feature Invite External Member when creating the team. All teams created without turning on this feature cannot invite external members.

Please make sure that your has already enabled this feature for your team, then follow the steps below to start inviting external members to your team!

1. Go to the team you want to add members into. Click Members in the tab bar.

2. Click + Add Members button on the right.

3. Select Invite External Member.

4. Enter the Cell phone number of the member you want to invite.

– 4.1 Select the country of the phone number in Select a Country drop down, or you can enter the country code of the phone number.

Note:The country code should be entered after the sign in the Cell phone field.

– 4.2 Enter the Cell phone number.

– 4.3 Click Next.

5. Enter the name of the company/organization that the member is from, or his/her relationship with you team in Company/ Org/ Relationship field.

6. Enter the reason why you want to invite the member in Reason for invitation field.

7. You can upload the photo or business card of the member if needed.

8. When you’re done, follow one of the steps below based on your role in the team to send out the invitation:

– 8.1 If you are the team admin, click OK and you will see a notice saying "The invitation has been sent". The external member will be in the team after he/she completes the registration and accepts the invitation.

– 8.2 If you are not the team admin, click Apply and you will see a notice saying The application has been sent. The application will first be sent to the team admin, and the invitation will be sent out after the application is approved by the team admin. The external member will be in the team after he/she completes the registration and accepts the invitation.

1. Go to the team you want to add members into. Tap Members in the tab bar.

2. Tap + Add Members button in the top right.

3. Tap Invite External Member.

4. Enter the Cell phone number of the member you want to invite.

–4.1 Select the country of the phone number, or you can enter the country code of the phone number.

Note:The country code should be entered after the sign in the Cell phone field.

–4.2 Enter the Cell phone number.

–4.3 Tap Next.

5. Enter the name of the member’s company/organization, or the member’s relationship with you team in Company/ Org/ Relationship field.

6. Enter the reason why you want to invite the member in Reason for invitation field.

7. You can upload the member’s photo or business card if needed.

8. When you’re done, follow one of the steps below based on your role in the team to send out the invitation:

–8.1 If you are the team admin, tap OK and you will see a notice saying "The invitation has been sent". The external member will be in the team after he/she completes the registration and accepts the invitation.

–8.2 If you are not the team admin, tap Apply and you will see a notice saying The application has been sent. The application will first be sent to the team admin, and the invitation will be sent out after the application is approved by the team admin. The external member will be in the team after he/she completes the registration and accepts the invitation.
